Red Faction and Fight Night Round 4..

Still kicking, just busy working on projects. Been scorching in Vancouver here recently making it hard to work indoors. Laptop at the beach? Might have to be done..

I purchased Fight Night Round 4 and Red Faction Guerilla recently. Red Faction I seem to have a love hate relationships with it, I'll have fun playing it, smashing stuff for a while but I'll never have any real motivation to start it back up again. It feels almost too open? if thats possible, feeling unattached to the story, just saving mars basically. Smashing an entire building down with your sledgehammer hasn't become old news yet though, it's as fun as it sounds.

Fight Night round 4 feels almost more like a "Legends of Wrestling" kind of game, as opposed to the next installment of Fight Night. The controls are pretty intuitive, yet after about an hour of play you should become fairly comfortable. So far in the Legacy mode I've been able to basically not use my left arm and defeat oponents with root hooks and jabs. A little problem? or just encouragement to this players who are struggling with the tougher opponents.

Still playing Fight Night and Red Faction, so I cannot give them a clichè rating at this time.
Red faction seems like a renter, same with Fight night at this point.

No more heroes 2 Debuts

A trailer was shown at TGS this year featuring a return of Travis Touchdown for another beam katana blood fest in No More Heroes 2. Nothing else is known at the moment so everything is just speculation.

If you're unsure about No More Heroes 1, check it out here!

TGS 2008 Most Anticipated

10. White Knight Chronicles - SCEA - Playstation 3
Being brought to you by Level 5 studios, a classic rpg with a great combat system, over 50 hours of gameplay.. not many details have been dropped yet however, so it's basically a given at TGS this year.

9. Kingdom Hearts - Birth By Sleep - Square Enix - PSP
The Only reveals have been private screenings and screenshots but Square Enix will have a playable version of this game at TGS. Looking to expand upon the previous games Birth By Sleep is set 10 years before the first game and there will be a first person mechanic and multiplayer..

8. Resistance 2 - SCEA - Playstation 3
New weapons and alternate fire.. little is known about the campaign, but more should be revealed.

7. Infamous - SCEA- Playstation 3
More or less grand theft auto with super powers, you have the choice to save or destroy the city. Can't wait to see more of this game.

6. Madworld - SEGA- WII
This game has an amazing art style, black and white almost frank miller esque with some red thrown in there to show the gruesomeness that comes with having a chainsaw for an arm. Keeping with the different sense of humor that follows many japanese games you have a chance to fight Herr Frederick Von Twirlenkiller. Yeah, thats right.

5. Dissidia - Final Fantasy - Square Enix - PSP
Should be some good character reveals at TGS for this "not a fighting game" that looks from the trailers like a fast paced fighter.

4. Bayonetta - SEGA - Playstation 3 and Xbox 360
Little has been released to the public about this game, the press is saying that it delivers so I guess we'll have to wait and see.

3. Resident Evil 5 - Capcom - Playstation 3 and Xbox 360
Enough said.

2. Final Fantasy XIII - Square Enix - Playstation 3 and Xbox 360
Honestly, I don't have to say much here we just want to see more!

1. Unannounced Team ICO Game - SCEI - Playstation 3
Very impressive company so far with shadows of the colussus being highly regarded, can we see another major hit?
